Prices and Quotations

  1. All prices are given in GBP (Pounds Sterling).

  2. All prices quoted are valid for three months from the date quoted in the Quotation or Proposal.

  3. Ingrid Demazeux has the right to change hourly rates etc without notice but will inform her existing clients before proceeding with any work outside of any agreed Quotations or Proposals.

  4. Ingrid Demazeux offers a 15% discount to completely voluntary, not-for-profit and/or charitable organisations, . Discounts are offered at Ingrid Demazeux discretion. Ingrid Demazeux reserves the right to change details or withdraw any discounts without prior notice.

Proposals / Specifications

  1. Full detailed Proposals/Specifications are completed free of charge.

Invoices and Payments

  1. A deposit of at least 25% of the total project cost is required before Ingrid Demazeux proceeds with any agreed Web Design and/or Development work.

  2. Once the deposit has been received, then both Ingrid Demazeux and the client are under contract to complete the work within a reasonable time scale. However Ingrid Demazeux has the right to subcontract work out if necessary.

  3. Ingrid Demazeux reserves the right to refrain from starting any agreed work until the requested deposit has been received and the funds cleared in her bank if necessary.

  4. Once the concept design has been approved, any further or major changes to either the design or functionality (including any additional pages not agreed upon in the Final Proposal) may be charged at additional costs at the discretion of Ingrid Demazeux and added to the final invoice.

  5. Any additional time or costs incurred to Ingrid Demazeux including searching for and purchasing images, setting-up email accounts and purchasing domains that are extra to any agreed at the start, may also be charged at additional costs at the discretion of Ingrid Demazeux and added to the final invoice.

  6. Once the agreed work is completed and the site is put live - even if for any reason the site is not requested to go live within one week from completion of the agreed work - the remainder of the payment will be due within 14 days from the date of the final invoice, unless otherwise agreed. In some cases the site may not be put live until the remaining payment is received, as agreed beforehand.

Client Delays and Unpaid Invoices

  1. If Ingrid Demazeux is kept waiting for over 8 weeks without receiving any content in order to proceed with or complete any agreed work, then she reserves the right to charge for the remaining payment or at least part of the remaining payment at her discretion, unless otherwise agreed.

  2. Any changes needed on the site resulting from a long delay in the client providing content may be charged at additional costs at the discretion of Ingrid Demazeux.

  3. If Ingrid Demazeux's work is being subcontracted (i.e., another company is invoicing the client directly and paying Ingrid Demazeux directly for her work on a freelance basis) then Ingrid Demazeux has the right to charge any payments as outlined in these Terms and Conditions to the subcontracting company, and it is then their responsibility to collect money themselves from their client.

  4. If the final invoice for the remaining payment is not paid within the agreed time then Ingrid Demazeux reserves the right to charge a minimum of 1% interest for each day the payment is overdue, at Ingrid Demazeux's own discretion.

  5. In extreme circumstances, Ingrid Demazeux reserves the right to take the site offline if the final invoice for the remaining payment is not paid within the agreed time, and may only put the site live again once the payment is received and the funds cleared in her bank if necessary, unless otherwise agreed.

Time scales and Deadlines

  1. Ingrid Demazeux aims to complete all agreed work, unless otherwise arranged at any stage during the project. Ingrid Demazeux aims to complete the work within any agreed time scales or deadlines and the client will be informed if for any reason there are any delays in completing the work.

Subcontracted Work

  1. Ingrid Demazeux occasionally subcontracts work to Associate Illustrators, Print Designers and Web Developers where necessary and usually keeps the client informed if this is the case and in some cases the client may be asked to work with and pay her Associates directly and separately for such work.

  2. Large amounts of subcontracted work such as Web Development work for Content Managed Sites and Online Payment Systems are usually invoiced directly from the Associate Company or Freelancer and NOT from Ingrid Demazeux. Ingrid Demazeux therefore cannot be held responsible for work that is delayed or uncompleted by subcontractors but will of course endeavour to do everything possible to help the client to fulfil the project.

  3. Other related services such as Hosting and Search Engine Optimisation can be arranged. The client will be invoiced for any cost out with the original agreed price.

Privacy Statement

  1. Any information users provide is solely to enable Ingrid Demazeux to process your enquiry or project and provide a high level of service. The information concerning you will be accurate and up to date and will be held in accordance with the law. If you find any inaccuracies she will delete or correct it promptly.

  2. Ingrid Demazeux agrees NOT to pass your details on to any other person or organisation of any kind without your permission or request to do so, except to relevant Associates IF necessary.
